My Signature Makeup: The Products I Always Reach For

Am I the only one that only does the same makeup look every time without thinking? Unless I'm going out out or there's a particularly special occasion, I mindlessly reach for the same series of products and do the exact same look. The coverage depends on the occasion - lighter for errands or casual plans and fuller for proper plans, events or the evening. Sometimes I don't bother with the wing or I experiment with a different gloss - but that's about as crazy as it gets. Pretty much, it's the same products, in the same order, every single time.
A fuller coverage, proper plans moment.

Summer Fridays Cloud Dew

We all know that a face of makeup is only as good as the skincare beneath it. I've tried a lot of moisturisers in my 24 years and this is one that I keep going back to - I just picked up a new one after not using it for a little while and it's the highlight of my skincare routine. It just feels so light on the skin that it's a dream to apply and leaves you feeling so hydrated and fresh.

Glossier Futuredew

This has been a holy grail product for me for a while now - I think I've gone through at least 3 bottles. It gives you the glowiest base without making you look greasy and I'm obsessed with the way my foundation looks over the top of it.
£26
Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation

This is my favourite foundation I've ever tried - I absolutely love the coverage and they're not playing around when they use the word flawless. I've gone through at least 6 bottles of this in the last few years so it couldn't be more tried and tested by me. I think the finish is meant to be slightly matte but I find it pretty dewy (although maybe that's the future dew talking) and the way it blends into the skin is a dream.
£39
NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer

This is the concealer. If a concealer was that girl then this is her. It's a cult classic and I feel like it's been a staple in everyone's makeup bag - pro or regular makeup putter-onner for years and for good reason. It's a product I buy over and over again because of the luxurious texture and consistency, generous coverage, performance and luminous finish.
£26
Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder

Another product you don't need me to tell you to buy. When you think of setting powder, you think of Laura Mercier. This is a product I don't just mindlessly apply, I mindlessly buy. I've recently started using a powder puff (I'm late, I know) and THAT MOMENT when you lift it away from the first under eye and get to compare how flawless it is to the other is just so satisfying.
£36.50
Too Faced Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer

This isn't so much of a recommendation as it is just telling you what I use to contour. I don't remember when I got this, it's lasted so long as it's a pretty large bottle (for concealer), I only use a few dots, a little goes a long way and I got a shade too dark for me (your contour only needs to be a few shades darker than your skin tone) so I have to blend it out a lot. This is another cult classic and I do like the formula, I'm just bored and want to get something new but I hate waste so I'm waiting for this to run out first.
£27
Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Happy

I consider myself a blush connoisseur and liquid blush is the way to my heart. If you've watched me do my makeup, you know the Glowgasm blush wand by Charlotte Tilbury in Pinkgasm was my favourite. But with all the hype, I had to try this one when I ran out and it's taken the top spot. Although, I've only compared this to Charlotte Tilbury's matte wand which I didn't like as much, so who knows what would happen in a liquid blush showdown.
£18
Rose Inc Brow Gel

This brow gel is a staple of mine at the moment, I've always struggled with brows so a simple clear gel (and a little bit of brow pencil) is perfect for me. I've found that others leave a gooey residue or go kind of congealed when it mixes my foundation, but this one has a really nice consistency.
£19.50
Rare Beauty Perfect Strokes Mascara

Best mascara I've ever used, there I said it.
£21
Hourglass Luminous Bronze Light

I actually use an Hourglass palette that was a limited edition product so it's not available anymore, but this bronzer is the same formula and a similar colour - I've tried it before and it's stunning, I'll definitely be using it again when my palette runs out.
£42
Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush in Sublime Flush

Same as with the bronzer, the blush I use is in the same limited edition palette but after extensive holding my palette up to the screen, I've concluded that this shade is the most similar. It's a gorgeous peachy coral pink and I just pop a bit on to set my liquid blush and because I love layering blushes even if my boyfriend keeps asking why my cheeks look "so pink" - he doesn't understand and that's ok.
£42
Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat in Pillow Talk

The only lip liner anyone will ever need - Pillow Talk was designed to be a shade that suits everyone. It's the perfect muted pink and I have at least 2 if not 3 on the go at any given time - one in my makeup drawer, a little short one that's running low in my handbag and one floating around somewhere just in case. I wear it every time I do my makeup and I have for years.
£20
Charlotte Tilbury K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in Penelope Pink

Now, I was using the Pillow Talk lipstick to match the liner for years but I wanted something a little lighter and a little more nude - this colour is my new favourite! I think it looks perfect with the liner (see the pic at the top for the lip combo) because they complement each other perfectly and it provides that extra pop of pink. The only problem is I can't find it atm so I need to tidy my room...
£27
Naturium Phyto-Glow Lip Balm in Petal

I recently received a set of the Naturium lip balms as PR and of course, I immediately reached for the light pink shade. This product is super hydrating for your lips and has a gorgeous high-shine glossy finish.
£12
Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb in Fenty Glow

I'm not particularly fussy (incidentally another shade name of this product) about what gloss I use - I just reach for whichever one I see and apply it without thinking of the consequences (which are never more high-stakes than a slightly different tint to the lipstick underneath), but this is one I seem to reach for the most and it has such a gorgeous texture, colour and finish.
£18
MAC Fix + Stay Over Setting Spray

This MAC setting spray promises your makeup will stay in place for up to 16 hours, I can't confirm or deny that promise because I'm rarely awake, let alone wearing a full face of makeup, for 16 hours of the day, but it's what I use and my makeup really does stay flawless all day - I often find myself reluctant to remove it before bed because it seems like a waste to take off a face of makeup that still looks perfect.
