Floral prints have been around forever, but recently the 3D flower is everywhere and I'm absolutely obsessed with them.

As a girly girl, this trend could not be more me, and I don't know why we didn't think of it before. Why would we limit our love of florals to prints and vases? Whether you make it the focal point of your outfit or add an accessory to incorporate florals on a smaller scale, there are a bunch (get it) of ways to jump on this trend.

The Flower Choker

I love this option and it really takes some outfits in particular to the next level. This outfit would be NOTHING without the flower on my neck (maybe not nothing, I do love this co-ord). You can either buy a flower choker - there are so many to choose from now, or like me, you can DIY one! I used a scrap of fabric, a piece of cardboard, some super glue and a ribbon - let me know if you want a tutorial although there are plenty online!

ASOS

£5 (was £8.50)

This pink silky one is the most similar to the one I made and it's fixed onto a ribbon with a necklace-like clasp.

Casa Clara

£34

The orchid? You're joking. This is such a stunning twist on the trend.

Urban Outfitters

£18

The petals on this one look beautiful and really delicate, I like the thin cord that it's on as well. It's also available in black.

Stradivarius

£9.99

I'm in love with this denim option for the cool girls.

ASOS

£9.99

Isn't this just the cutest thing you've ever seen?

The Statement Flower Dress

I've seen some absolutely stunning statement dresses with flower details recently - whether the flower is pretty much the silhouette of the dress, the main feature of the design or a smaller detail.

Magda Butrym

Strapless Flower Babydoll Dress in Pink

£1145

Unless you've been living under a flower pot, you have seen this dress. Magda Butrym is arguably one of the main pioneers of the flower takeover with so many of her exquisite dresses featuring stunning floral details.

Meshki

Brooks Dress

£110

I was seconds, clicks, heartbeats away from ordering this dress before my trip to Sicily. I mean it's literally the same name as my surname - it was meant to be. But then I realised it wouldn't arrive on time. No doubt inspired by Magda Butrym's designs, this dress by Meshki is literally less than 10% of the price.

Reformation

Adalynn Knit Two Piece

£228

Technically a co-ord, but it has the same energy as the statement dress. I think this is sooo cute and romantic, I absolutely love it - someone buy it for me please.

Meshki

Adeline Dress

£55

This is also available in pink (and black, and white) but I wanted to include this beautiful baby blue shade for the non-pink-lovers who have somehow found their way onto my website.

Free People

Blossom Bliss Maxi Dress

£328

I have to say I'm partial to a lilac moment. I feel like this dress would be perfect for a wedding guest, a holiday (I'm thinking Mallorca) or any other fabulous event you might be attending.

Flower Shoes

On your toes is one of the most fun ways to wear this trend - it's like you're walking through a meadow full of flowers! I love how you can pair them with the simplest dress or literally with jeans and suddenly it's a fit.

ZARA

Floral Leather Sandals

£79.99

I've had my eyes on these adorable heels for a while, but they weren't in stock in my size before my holiday and now I have nowhere to wear them!

Magda Butrym

Appliquéd Satin Sandals

£900

These are the heels of my dreams, everything about them is perfection - what else is there to say?

Aquzzura

Zsa Zsa Floral Sandals

£755

These are the heels of my dreams, everything about them is perfection - what else is there to say?

ZARA

Denin Floral Sandals

£35.99

I'm obviously not a blue kinda girl but I do make exceptions for denim...

Office

Black Flower Slingbacks

£54.99

Everyone needs a pair of staple black heels in their shoe collection, so why not have flowers to spruce up yours?

DIY

I made these myself with an old pair of ZARA heels, some artificial flowers and a lot of super glue.

The Flower Belt

So you want to add a flower accessory to your outfit to make it cuter, but you don't want as much drama as the choker or maybe you find it uncomfortable to have something tight around your neck? Tie or clip your flower choker or corsage onto your belt loops. My friend Maddie was the one who opened my eyes to this styling idea and it looks so cute!

The Flower (jeans and a) Nice Top

There are some really beautiful and fun flower tops in bloom at the moment and if you're not quite ready for the early Sunday morning visit to Columbia Road Flower Market (that's my complex flower-themed metaphor for wearing a statement dress), then pairing one of these options with your favourite jeans is the perfect option for dinner or drinks.

Meshki

Paloma Top

£79

This gorgeous bustier would look amazing dressed down with jeans and heels for your date night or drinks with the girls. It also comes in red!

Mango

Floral Chiffon Top

£29.99 (on sale)

How fabulous is she?! I love the unique silhouette and romantic draping on this one.

Stradivarius

Raised Floral Top

£5.99 (on sale)

This little vest is such a cute option to pair with jeans or a mini skirt this summer.

Rozie Corsets

Flower Trim Corset Top

£739

This piece of artwork is just breathtaking, I hardly even know what to say.

ASOS

White Strappy Corsage Top

£26

This is a cute option that would be super easy to style,

A Flower in Your Hair

For this option, you can either pin a corsage (or even a real flower tbh) into your hairstyle like I did with my half-up half-down below, or you can pick up a purpose-pruned (purpose-built get it hehe) accessory like a claw clip, hair tie or headband.

@_mollybrooks_

Emi Jay

Super Bloom Clip in Rose Pearl

£12

This is so so cute and Emi Jay claw clips are the BEST quality. Use this to throw your hair up into a half up half down or bun with any casual outfit and it would immediately make it so adorable! They also come in so many colourways.

Stradivarius

Maxi Flower Srunchie

£8.99

This scrunchie would look so cute tied around a bouncy ponytail. It's also available in blue, cream and black.
